Summary:Rajkummar Rao chooses a character and makes him an icon and he did the same for Shardul Thakur. His character is a gay police officer who has a hard time revealing his identity to the world. He proposes to Bhumi Pednekars Suman, who also identifies as a lesbian, that she get married and live life the way she wants, with the partners she wants to be illegitimate with. The final scenes, in which both Bhumi and Rajkummar come out to their parents, are emotional and very well executed. Special mention goes to Gulhan Devaiah for rehearsals with Shardul's partner Guru Narayan.
